Hey everyone, I've been reading this forum for quite a while now and have been learning so many things from you seo experts.

I finally have a question specific to my efforts, though. My site just got a PR boost from 0 to 6 this weekend. It's got 1880 backlinks on Google... but still, it shows up nowhere in the serps. My targeted keyword is "free music downloads" -- all of the backlinks use that as the anchor text, also. I am up against some insanely huge competitors (mp3.com, amazon.com, download.com) but I know I should be able to still get pretty high.

I saw the whole eBay campaign that one of you did, getting ranked higher than some of eBay's sites... that was amazing. Can anyone give me some advice on how I can go about getting ranked on my keyword? Thanks.

Check to see how your links compare to you competition. I took a quick look and noticed that many of your links come from the same site (not good) and the site is not relevant to your site (also not good). Look here to see how you compare - www.marketleap.com

Also, if you haven't yet, post a link exchange in this forum.

Thank you, you're absolutely right. I checked my competitors and most of the top ones blow me out of the water in link popularity! I will also go post in the link exchange forum. Thanks again for the help.
