I had always really wondered how google the company came up with the name. As an old math whiz in my high school and college days I loved this number the Googol and the googol plex..... Want some useless never needed to know facts on a googol? lol
A googol is a 1 followed by 100 zeros A googol plex a googol to the hundred power. In fact, if a person was to write out a googol plex..... and if s/he started say the day Christ was born, s/he would still not be finished writing it out, and if each zero was the size of a pin head ( regular metal pin for sticking notes up on a board) s/he would need the surface of over 8 earths..... Yes such trivia you will never need to know.....
Some of the spin off comments on the other board where I found this are quite funny, but sadly true as well. Where does copyright start and end?
