One of the things I have tried to do in designing my site is base things on my own experience surfing. With that in mind, when I search on my keywords I get a list of a bunch of software companys which is not what I or clients will be looking for. Next I'll repeat the same search with a "-software" at the end of the search. That gives results that are more what I'm looking for. Question: Can I use "-software" as one of my keywords.
Thanks for the help!
PS SeoGuy Thank you for all the hard work.

are you talking about for PPC programs? if so then yes you can exclude that keyword in the results. there is usually a help section within the interface that explains more about keyword exclusion.

The answer is no, but why would you, nobody is searching using that operator anyways, and if they were likely you would come up anyways, my suggestion is if you cant compete with the sites coming up for what you "think" are your searches, then refine the keywords, make them a little more targeted and specific, this will mke them easier to rank for but also increase the quality of traffic as well
