Lower pages not yet indexed

Our site sells a product, but we have two instructional sections on the site that are valuable and free -- that are not indexed. They are one directly level down:

homepage/howto/intro.html

The site is about 250 pages. Is there something I should be doing to have more of my pages indexed.

FB, Assuming that the "howto" page is linked from all main level pages...

If you don't have a site map, get one (again linked from all main level pages). You can send some links directly to the pages in question (internal or external). And then there's always the link strength of the home page. The stronger it is the deeper you get crawled so get more links.
