site #1: has a small links directory where each subpage of the directory has a PR3 and only about 7-8 outbound links.
site #2: same topics as the old, but more professional. It has a links page with a PR0. I would like to see this site with more traffic and better rankings that the old site.
My question is: is there enough of a difference between unreciprocated links and reciprocated links to warrant contacting other site owners and requesting a link to site #2 in exchange for a link from site #1? And how negatively would 30-50 unreciprocated but relevant outbound links hurt site #1?
