Thanks guys for the help with optimization for my site. I now have 40,000 pages indexed, and a decent traffic flow from google. I get now about 2750 uniques per day with google...
...and this is only being listed with them for two months.

I got a lot of help from you guys and this forum, and I couldn't have gotten there without it!
I would love to get even more google traffic, though... (who wouldn't?), so if anyone has any extra ideas well, you know the drill... and thanks again in advance.

Congratulations on the improvements Valkhorn. This forum hasn't been up and running for that long, so you're one of the first that I've had a chance to hear from.
Is there anything in particular that you would recommend doing? Something that you found really made a difference for your site? Let us know.

Well for me just keeping everything dynamic is the biggest help. All of my titles are generated dynamically, so if I want to change the titles sitewide it's easy to do.
Also, being patient is the key for me. Let google do it's thing, let it spider your site, and be paitent so you can see how it is generating your descriptions so you can improve them. Once you're listed, improve your descriptions the best way you can, then sit back and see how traffic goes.
I don't have any specific keywords that I get the most traffic from, too. It all really comes in from a few hundred keywords, and not particularly just one. At least this means there is still room to improve :)

Hi,
I noticed that you are using phpBB for the forum. Did you have to do mod_rewrite to get the messages indexed on Google? or you just had to take the session_ids out.
Thanks,

eCommando,
I haven't done much yet to get my forum indexed, but it's on the to-do list ;) I haven't even done a mod-rewrite yet for it.
Cyber,
I've added you to my MSN. I'll chat with you through there :) Or if you want, email me at webmaster@cheatbot.com. I'm interested to see what you have to say :)
