Many sites are being penalized because jerks from other sites are using 302 redirects, tracker2 to hijack your site. can anyone comment about what Google is doing about this and how widespread this problem is? My site has a tracker2 redirect and since then, Google has dropped my site to the bottom of this earth. I really don't know how to fix this problem. The offending site has no contact information, no emails, no phone, so I don't even know how to contact the host.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know how or what Google has done about this issue but have you tried to look at the whois information to see who owns the domain? You might be able to find some contact information and get rid of the redirect.

well ... it's low tech, that's for sure... i have a domain that expired 3 months ago with a redirect to it's newer domain/version.

i have validating issues on c00p because google still has this site as a 302 to the new site.

worse yet, a porn site buys the expired url.
