Store has over 500 products, most are unique and have only 1 in stock, thus if one sells, the feed has to be redone. Is there anything to do for making a Froogle feed easy?

It has not been easy to maintain, does anyone have an opinion on if it is worth the time for listing things in Froogle? Only started the feed in the beginning of the month, and have only had one sale from Froogle.

Thanks

I've got a small niche retail site, we've been in Froogle for a good long while, and Froogle isn't really a source of paying customers.

The good news is that I've intergrated my Froogle feed with my shopping cart, so all I have to do is click one link to update and upload my feed.

Maybe you could even automate that, if you cart makes a sale, it automatically calls a subroutine which generates the feed from your DB and FTP's it up....

I think your old stuff still stays in the cache for 30 days (or at least some lagging time period) even if you submit a new feed

If you find an easy way - I'd be willing to hear it....

Started setting it up for a client who wasn't paying me for that specifically....

Kind a just throughing it in....

Didn't seem like I had the time for it....

I uploaded something as a feed - don't think it worked....

Couldn't spend much time with it.

Since this client has unique, nich products, so ... I thought I'd test it out for them and see what happens. It is a very big pain to do with the amount of items they have. Its like 1 in stock of 500 products instead of 5 products with 100 of each, so almost on a daily basis I am having to edit the feed, because they have a store front as well and sell things that way to.

I think I will ask the programmer to get me a txt dump page from the database and tell them what info is needed in the order they want it.

I just signed up and submitted my first feed. I will post an update about any traffic I get in 30days. I hope my niche does well.
