Hey guys,
we are looking for authors for Web related articles to be posted on the SEO Guy site as an added benefit to our visitors. We have already recieved one artilce from Cliff Ritter called The Power of CSS (http://www.web-design.seo-guy.com/web-design-articles/css-power.html) thanks Cliff!
Why would you want to submit an article? Because it gives you exposure on the highly trafficked SEO Guy website, also every article that is accepted gets a backlink from that article to the authors website, and each author gets a BIO published in our authors section just like Cliffs, http://www.seo-guy.com/authors/cliff-ritter.html so certainly worth while if you ask me heh so lets get them creative juices flowin and pump out some articles! :s&m:

Hey SEO Guy, I always write my articles in Spanish but I could translate you one of the latest. It talks about Forums and Search Engines and it explains the advantages as well as how to make it spider friendly giving specific code. Tell me if the subject is ok because I just saw researching a little bit that there are a couple of articles about it in English (although the topic is treated differently).
Let me know and I'll translate it ASAP (or when the telendro lets me :D )

Hey, hi Julian - nice to see you here. :) Good to see some familiar faces around. :)
As for your articles in spanish - I've actually read a few with Google's translation tool, which adds a rather unique flair to your writing. :)
Btw - as for requests for articles here - what range of topics are you after, if you don't mind my asking. Is it exclusive content only, or does it not matter? Also, could please indicate the path to the articles? Simply because the design articles dont seem very well sign-posted at the moment.

Same here Brian! ;)

I'm sure it did. I think Google translation tool is the best example of the phrase "Google is not that smart" :p
hmm... I could drop an article every now and then. We have the largest article-based finnish webdeveloper site (about 350 freebie articles and 500+ susbricebable). Tanslating some gems from there could be worth the shot.
What are the general guidelines (how many words and what topics can be issued). The summer vacation is coming and I could do some translations from our popular "running Apache / IIS" series. "Sin protection with mod_rewrite" could prove to be usefull as it's about robot / referrer spamming blocking.

Post em anywhere you like, they are yours if you write em, you get a bio too if they are posted so can add some validity to your practices, although in your case book I think your reputation preceeds you :)

Are you looking for strictly SEO related articles or are you looking for anything that would benefit web professionals?

Hey SEO-guy, and I've just finished writing a huge web site performance tuning/optimization article for my site. I'll get it uploaded when I get home, and post a link so you can have a look.

False Alarm I'm afraid, the site's now undergoing a major overhaul server-side and I'm restructuring all of the navigation system as well, it's too much hassle to be uploading new content and linking to it when it will be moved about soon.
Thats what you get for not planning ahead......

Well I spent far too much time faffing around and then ended up with the article being too big for one page, so I split it into separate pages, then decided they were too short, so I fleshed them out a bit.....
It's quite a big article now, but feel free to have a look, and if you want it, or part of it, then you are welcome:

OK Thanks SEO Guy. As soon as I get my editor to correct the few mistakes, I'll send it to you. I wrote them myself but since english is my secondary language, I sometimes put words together in a funny way.
Good morning:-)
i also wrote an article and send it to seo_guy, i hope that it was good enough to be publish or used, about the logfile analysis, rather trivial but interesting for the not pro seos. Worked until 1:30 am for that:-)
Greetings
David

You can post them here or email them to me, but I am way behind on submissions so posting the article in it's intirety here would be fine
Be sure to create a new thread

Seo Guy -
I am preparing to write an article that discusses website design and usability for handicapped surfers. In the article are design practices that can be implemented fairly easily that improve the internet experience for people with visual, audiotory, or physical handicaps. Also included are statistics from varying sources that show the number of handicapped web surfers (there are more than you think!). Please let me know if you already have an article that covers this material,
