I need help in Mode re-write

Hi Guys,

I just has started my own forum http://forum.hiddenpixels.com and its working nicelly. it is on linux server and i can use mode re-write through .htaccess but i dont know how i can impliment it in my forum ?? for search engine friendly links....
can anybody help me????
