hey guys,

Can you guys recommend any decent SEO software? Do they have any programs that checks the SERPs of your key words and key phrases, your traffic, etc. ???

I'm so busy, it would be nice to be able to turn on a program that automatically checks my SERPS every morning :D

thanks

Yeah I have a few good programs that SEO Guy himself said were very good. Some of them are:

Web CEO - I never submmit through it jus check rankings and link pop.

Arelis - Very good link building program. There are a few dislikes about it like the way it's built to send email and checking links but other then that it's great and you can get other tools to do the dislikes as Arelis lets you export to other programs.

WPG will do that also-but like he said...only use it to check rank & link pop.

Well speaking of SEO tools I am developing my own link checker and link directory script due to a few reasons.

First is the lack that Arelis has. I just don't like the way Arelis makes directory pages and has very bad Link Checking features into it as I hear.

I know there are scripts on the market BUT most are PHP and really don't fit my needs as I am a big time ASP.NET person so I figured "If all this is not working out why not build my own?" I downloaded a sample ASP script that checks links so I now understand how to check links with using the HTTP Request class.

If anyone would like to try it out for me or have a spin at it let me know. I'd be happy to give it away to SEO Guy members. Only thing is you would need to run ASP.NET 2.0.

Could you post the script you downloaded for link checking please or give us a link to that ASP script?

Thank you
Vlad

I use my own SEO Software (SEO Elite (http://www.seoelite.com))
WPG, WebCEO, and Arelis just didn't cut it for me...

wyrickj:

I agree with you. There's not really any desparetly good tools for that out there. I've been doing the same thing in ASP (more widely supported currently) as I'm pretty expert in AJAX and httpRequest.

Gimme a shout if you have any probs - I might be able to help a little.

Web CEO (http://www.webceo.com) recommended for "presentable" ranking check and backlink analysis.
