Hello all,

Now iam doing the link exchange for the site www.templatemuseum.com. Initially i got the page rank 2 immediately. But till now the page rank has 2 from last 3 months. Currently iam approching links pagerank 4+.

My links page rank target is 6.

Please advice me what are the steps i should follow to incresing the page rank.

I'd mention my links pages PR in threads where related sites, that have high PR links pages, might recognize the opportunity.

But... What is "approaching links pagerank 4+"

Exactly. High pr is good, but its not the end all be all. I know that there are lots of webmasters concentrating (narrowly IMHO) on just getting high pr back links, but I have to think that it may not be the best strategy. Better to be lower pr and higher relevancy.

Having a diverse strategy in link development helps as well.
Recips are always good, but getting one way links will also help to increase your popularity.
I *personally* don't base much on PR. IMHO, it is always there but only gets updated a few times a year. If you build your site up, with links, content etc. in a "natural" way, it will succeed.

IMHO: In my humble opinion.

By natural way, I mean adding links and content in a human like manner.
I think that G can recognize a brand new website that comes blazing on the scene with thousands of links.
If you slowly add good links that are on topic, you can accomplish what you are looking to do. Increase traffic, PR and popularity!

Remember PR is not everything, make sure your adding fresh content also. I have seen pages with 0 pr and still ranked #1 because of the quality content on the page relating to the search term. With that said though: Quality in-bound links with the right anchor text.
