View Full Version : Strange yahoo results!
hi,
there are strange and different results from yahoo in the last 12 hours.
my sites disappeared and none relevent results are shown.
my sites are within the database (i can see it by typing the exact domain in the
search field and also by typing site:mydomain.com)
in the last 2 weeks, yahoo results blinked and it seems like it has a few datacenters but now
i can only see a scrambled one and the results are stable.
(ip: 216.109.118.67).
any ideas guys?
thanks
Maybe you should post one of your sites and let us have a look for you.
Cheers,
Paz.

i see no reason for this dropping.
what do you think?
thanks
There are a few things that caught my attention.
Firstly you have some server/code problem
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] '(unknown)' is not a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
/Directory/viewCategoryFamilyLinks.asp, line 6
Secondly you are using a robots revisit meta tag, often reported as being a bad idea, I haven't seen any evidence, but I wouldn't risk it.
Thirdly.... I'll send you a PM.
Cheers,
Paz.

Will remove it.

I said that it had been reported as bad.... I removed mine though, because logically I can't see how it can help me... it won't make them come more quickly or more often... but it could cause me to miss a visit.

Always get a second opinion before you act on advice in a forum ;)

haha no way, the "P" stands for private. I PM'd because I wasn't sure of my facts... in the end I'm glad I did. [BEGIN] Smug Mode........

What's Silicon Heaven? Has it got anything to do with being stuck opposite Bridgette Nielsen in a packed lift?
