Hi..

Just wondering if anyone knows why a page would have PR, but not be cached by google??

http://www.sevenseek.com/dir/17.php

In the SevenSeek directory, the health category appears as a PR3

But.. when I search google for the page in question, it's not cached :(

Does anyone know why a Page would have PR, but not appear cached in google?

Yeah... something strange... I'm seeing 10,000 plus pages indexed in Google, but many are not cached... but they look empty.

Could it just be that they are new, and the links haven't been spidered yet?

If the page has PR, wouldn't it be safe to say that they are not all new pages?

I'm noticing this with other directories too.. and with my own site

I've noticed the same on many directories. Don't know the reason yet.

I have some more strange results to share, One of my site shows 41 BLs today I am sure It will show 36 tomorrow (always changing...) as it is doing same from last 20 days.

The page was cached at one time, Google has cranked up the filters. If a page has PR and is filtered out as a "similar page" then the PR doesn't go away, at least not right away.

The page can get back in the cache.

Back on topic.. do you think its most probably a "duplicate content" filter?, or some other kind of filtration that is happening?
