Is anyone an editor in DMOZ capable of adding a site to the jewelry/watches category ? I have had my site waiting for about 20 months

There aren't any editors right above the category either, please help.

I got listed in /99 and it was borderline pathetic back then. Never thought it could get worse, but guess what? The sooner it self-destructs, the better off everone will be.

Greetings to all.

Guess you didn't like the answer you got at http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/thread7365.html?

I seriously doubt an editor will expedite the review of your suggestion. Which category anyway? There are a number of "Jewelry" related categories. If it's in Shopping - you're in for a long wait.

Why not submit to the Regional category where you're located? It can be quicker to get listed in Regional (if you have a physical location) and won't affect your topical submission.

I'll try that if I don't receive a response again, thanks for the advice.I thought the other post was orphaned because I found the category by searching ;)

DMOZ is useless.. I actually got a response from the DMOZ editor for my category, and he flat-out told me he wasn't adding our site because he felt it fell into an affiliate category. (This after I presented proof that this was a full-time, state licensed and bonded business, and pointed out other listings that did the exact same work as I did). It fell on deaf ears.
