I just heard back from Yahoo about not being included in the search and in fact they have banned my site from Yahoo Index. Would someone take a look at my site http://www.virginiamortgagelender.com/ and give me feedback as to what the ban would be for.
I have some ideas but would like other opinions. All feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,

it sounds like you already know what it is. So why send us on a wild goose chase. Just trying to see if you can hide it from us or what???? LOL
Im fairly new to this and I found some questionable things in the source code. Hope you can fix it, it would suck to have that much time into a site and lose it all.

Thanks .............that seems to be the consensus. So I re-submitted and we will see. I would like to see how it affects the SERPS in Google as I have been doing extremely well there.

Damn, this isn't multiple choice?
If you fixed the problems then contact them directly rather than just resubmitting.

jlknauf,
contact them directly rather than just resubmitting
What do you mean? In the email they sent me back they provided a link that was a 2nd review form request so I used that. Is there another way?
The question really was to see if there was any other additional reasons I could have been rejected besides the one I thought it was. Just trying to be sure so I would not be turned down again.
Its fun to try different stuff to see if it works but I also do not want to risk the site. I get a lot of traffic from G so I have not been too concerned with Yahoo, but they are huge IMO with the real estate industry so I am greedy and want to get back in and walk the straight and narrow. :D

Ahhh, I misunderstood. I thought you were just using the basic "suggest a site" thing.

Are you saying you are banned from Yahoo the search engine or the directory?
Because I am almost positive you are not banned from the search engine.
Type in your name, or url or site:url and you see that you are in there.
If you are in there you are not banned. You may have lost rankings due to questionable things, but that is not as bad as banned.
Why do you think you are banned? Did Yahoo tell you that?

I understand that but yes I was banned they told me that via email. The correct way to see that your banned is enter "a phrase (5-10 words) unique to the page in the search box below. Make sure to enclose your phrase in quotation marks"
When I did that the site was nowhere to be found. But let me give an update
I AM BACK IN AND STRONG! :D
THANKS FOR EVERYONES HELP HERE TO POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. THIS FORUM WAS VERY HELPFUL compared to the other forum. I APPRECIATE EVERYONES HELP.

Ok, you are welcome from all of us. Hey would you mind sharing with us what gets you banned from Yahoo for sure?
This way we would know what not to do.

Long story short, Do not have small kw text at the bottom of your site and do not hide text with -600px.

The only reason being I initially signed up for Yahoo Site Match when it first went active. About three months later my site was non existant. I am assuming they reviewed each site than and just took a while for them to get to mine. So they kicked it out when they saw the small text at the footer that is infamous in the REALTOR industry. My traffic was good with Google so I never worried about it. A couple weeks ago I wanted to see how much Yahoo could send so I resubmitted my site for review. Thats when they saw the hidden -600px text and BANNED my site. Needless to say, I corrected it and I am back in, I will never do it again and it does not work anyway.
Foolish to think things like that in and of themselves will work. There are so many additional SERP factors and as dumb as SE;s may be.... they are still smarter than us.

Has your ranking changed in Google since you made the adjustment?

Does not look to have affected G at all.
