I added a couple of links, although it will be quite a few months before you get people to pay for a brand new PR0 directory.

Note: typo on submission page: Recipricol Link

Hmmm that's odd, they shouldn't be showing up - we made some temp code changes....

We're in the process of doing the mod_rewrite, should be complete soon. :)

I'm confused about the whole static vs dynamic jazz. What is the difference between a "static" and "dynamic" link and why is dynamic no good for SEO?

Static: http://www.phoenixhomes.com/PageManager/Default.aspx/PageID=176136&NF=1

Dynamic: http://www.phoenixhomes.com/PageManager/Default.aspx/PageID=972710

I believe dynamic pages are ones where the URL and quite possibly the page is created by a computer. Also, the page comes from a data base vs. a static page is always at its URL. Not sure if I'm explaining this fully.

The last time I asked here about it, they had me switch my dynamic pages for my RE Agent Directory (top link) to open wiht out a frame, and be it own stand alone page. The link below the top one changes when clicked on to include my nav bar and then the page you were trying to get to gets framed by the nav bar.

Anyways, now my directory is "static" and you can see the URL in the address bar as you navigate around as well as see the different PR for each page, etc.

I hope I didn't just make things worse for you.

I think I'm beginning to understand. I think "dynamic" has different meanings in programming and in SEO.

In programming, a dynamic page is a page that can change depending on the forms submitted, variables set, etc. A static page is a page that never changes no matter how many times you visit it unless the page owner changes it. In programming, dynamic is a plus.

In SEO, a dynamic page is a page that changes content while you are at the page. Generally, any page that has the big web design and SEO no-no's, such as frames and flash sites. A static page does not change contact while visiting the page. So a category view website with gets is okay because each category has a different url, i.e. www.mydirectory.com/?c=129 has a different url and pr than www.mydirectory.com/?c=128.

Is this all correct?
