Rewrite PHPBB

Is anyone aware of a good tutorial on the specifics of rewriting PHPBB? I'll be doing it with ISAPI but it'd be a treat to have a solid guideline.

Most of the tutorials relate to a specific hack. I've done 2 and they were quite straightforward but I'd recommend finding a "googletap" hack and using the template of rewrites as the regular expressions can be daunting.

The most promising I've seen, but haven't used, involves having keywords in the url as well as the key. The words are padding for SEO purposes and the key is what really gets used. I would recommend this approach.

Looked like that GoogleTap was for PHP Nuke. Even though it might be the same application I'd prefer to dig through the files/templates as opposed to installing a mod and then digging. In the end I'll be working with ISAPI not mod-rewrite but it would be nice to have a clearly written mod-rewrite tut as a guideline.

You have the choice to either inject all titles in URLs, only cat and forums or just static mod Rewrite. They all output zero pagination duplicate and do not use ob_start() ;)
