Querystring and PR

When I copy and paste these 2 different urls into a browser, both pages show up as PR3. How is that possible?

It will give you the same pr for that page no matter what you put after the ? Mark

I'm still not sure I understand this. I was under the impression that a different query string represented a different page. For example:

www.games-for-less.com/product.asp?product=2313-SCD100
www.games-for-less.com/product.asp?product=2313-1990-99

Are two completely different product offerings. If "product.asp" achieves a PR of 4, will all products in my store be listed at this same PR? Even new product pages that have never been indexed / visited by gogle? I think I am missing something here...please explain :confused:

I know it will give you the same pr, but that's not the norm. The following 2 links demonstrate the "norm" as I've witnessed it.

the one that ends in 1311 is pr0, the one ending in 1314 is pr2.

So to reiterate my original question, does anyone know how the page "seo-guy.com/seo-tools/link-popularity.php?..." keeps the same pr?

This is the 3rd time I've asked in an open forum. If I don't get the answer within the forum, I guess I'll just pm the site owner (Morgan I believe). Would be nice to see it answered here though...thanks!
