Pages using Link Manager

Just wondering, do links on sites that use the linksmanager.com service to operate their links pages count as backlinks to improve rankings?

They probably do - but I personally hate those types of links.... If google is still counting them, I'm sure that's only till they figure out a way to filter it out..... There's got to be a way....

a link from a shady site isn't much better than no link at all :)
