Folks...what do you call it when you google something and there is only one return?

Enter S461 scooter exhaust and lo and behold I am the only one. What are the odds. Now I only need about 3000 people per day to search on that string.

I've not seen that before, pretty funny. In all seriousness though, why not include some anchor text in your signature? Personally I'd skip S461 scooter exhaust as you're already #1 for that.

Then again, maybe you'll get some credit the way your URL is broken up.

I thought I had my signature covered! How could I improve it? I have gas scooters covered. Are you suggesting I add my other products to it such as mini choppers, mopeds and pocket bikes? Do I add as links or just text?

I think he's suggesting using the keywords as anchor text. Your url is your keywords so I guess it's okay.

I put a few more pounds of SEO muscle in my signature just to make sure I had it covered.

I was just thinking that when you enter gas-scooters-on-the-web (would be another #1, you're right behind your posts on SEOchat) you get different results than gas scooters on the web. No-one's goung to enter the hyphens so why not something like:

Buy a gas scooter from gas scooters on the web.

Or use the second link to promote SERPS, RE Forum or...

Thanks so much for pointing that out to me. I was amazed when I ran the comparison that you just suggested, (with and without hyphens). I instantly realized what you were talking about: The 11 pages of google returns featuring my hyphenated web address in my signature, could have all been great key words that people actually type in when doing a search instead.

I am still amazed at the number of repeated, identical, bizarr search strings that are listed on my stats. Can't tell if it's the same person searching more than once on the same string, but some seem pretty strange.

I have been noticing the influence of this forum on the SERPS. It's always a nice suprise to see the added listings come through.
