Just wondering about this. My website www.yourenetbusiness.com uses a lot of hyperlinks to headline stories. Do the crawlers see the keywords in hyperlinks, or is it better to headline using text and using a small hyperlink?
Thanks,
Bonnie

Key words in link text (anchor text) is very important.

Like Dilligaf say, good anchor text is very important. One of the most.
I like nice juicy text links... and if the page's PR is good... it's the cherry on the sunday.
Always try to get text links. Pictures are okay too, if you use the ALT description.

Umm that is if you were asking about anchor text, were you? If your actually talking about the words in the actual URL string itself, they are counted as well, for instance the url string www.yourenetbusiness.com has the keywords "www" "yournetbusiness" and "com" and you get a very minute vote for each
