Hi.
I have been using Digital Point to monitor my keywords, backlinks, and PR for my business web site. I have come to really like the program.

Yesterday, I submitted my mother's personal genealogy web page.
When I visit her home page I see a PR of 4 on the Google toolbar.
It was PR5 two months ago.

But, when I ran the Digital Point program, it shows a PR 1 for her page.
Is this a heads up of what is to come?

If so, I wonder why it would drop so much PR? I didn't see any change of backlinks. The site has been online for many years.
She has been updating the site (but only to update the text ).

Do you think the site is being penalized?
I looked it over and it looks fine to me. But, I am fairly new to all this SEO stuff.

(BTW, this free site has popups. Sorry.)

Thank you.

Not really a sign of things to come, I think its just struggling because of the URL path. For your information, I provide the Digitalpoint tool with its pagerank via my checksum tool, its the same as the one used at http://www.seo-guy.com/seo-tools/google-pr.php it is 100% accurate for normal URL's, but as I said because the path of that domain is so truncated with / etc it may be clogging up the calculation.

No big deal, its a PR 4, and not a sign of things to come
Hope that helps
