to be honest...i really dont understand the title of this forum section.
isnt 'search engine friendly web design' another name for seo?
if i am a web designer....
and i stop for a moment and think about the search engine friendliness of my web site
...havent i put on my seo hat?
i think the users are a bit confused too.
if you look at the posts on page one...
they really can be grouped into 'web development' questions or 'seo' questions.
very few are walking the thin grey line of 'search engine friendly web design'.
there are lots of posts with no WEB DEV content in them.
...and there are lots post with no SEO content to them.
its seems that if the post is a WHY type question then its a SEO question.
...if the post is a HOW type question...then its a WEB DEV question.

Downloadable Files in Dreamweaver?
Does anyone know how to make files on Dreamweaver MX downloadable to viewer that view my site? I'll put (for example a video DL) a DL up and it will open rather than giving anyone the option to DL it. Does anyone know how to fix this??

this post has nothing to do with SEO.

Keyword On Url, Which Is Best?
I am working on a new project to add some keywords to my URL, I would like to know which is the best way?
1)
http://www.domain.com/books-for-sale.html
2)
http://www.domain.com/books_for_sale.html
The 2nd one is "books_for_sale.html"

this post has nothing to do with WEB DESIGN.
i just think its a very ambiguous forum section title...too general.
[just admit you made it up for the keywording value.]
