Depending on keywords i guess 6-12 months are required.

yahoo like rich and unique content! as what i do i just continuing link building such as bookmarking and promotional ads as result some of my keywords are much oky than before..cheers

I think yahoo use different algorithm for positioning any site and site must pass throught those criteria before getting position.

I disagree with the domain age. When I lanched my site I went stright to #1 on yahoo.

Page Title + Anchor Keyword Links on page and in backinks = #1

Easy... G is the one that gets me. I have 1700 backlinks in yahoo and 11 in G. I agree that domain age matters in G. I have an oler site I built before I learned about SEO it was PR4. I have a PR3 my site now. It was nowhere to be found for the first year.
