select a bookmark and either right click and select properties or click the properties button in the toolbar. In the third option down in the properties list, lets you type a keyword. Enter your keyword and then you’ll be able to access that URL by typing the keyword in the address bar....( i think this also works for IE)

hi.....i have a firefox 1.5 version and i don't know wat ru talkin about..because i don have properties option in the tool bar or by clicking right.....then how to perform further action u have explained.......plz make it clear...!!

first you have to bookmark a site.. and then view your bookmarks.. press CTRL-B right-click any link and then theres an option for properties...
