Duplicate Content?
hi.. is there anyone here know about this question, what was the effect of having a duplicate content that comes from other site or source in respect of the SEs? i believe there is no penalty but there is also no weight on SEs, another one it could be cause of resulting to supplemental if they found it as duplicate. what yours??? feedback time.. cheers

The page with the lover level of trust, usually by PR, is ignored. Too much of that may also get you in trouble.

maybe, some says that theres is a possibility of a duplicate content to get a benefit, and it will depend on SEs relativeness. how do you react on this?

Right, Google will look at the site with lower PR and a newer domain name as the site to not show and just show the other site. Yahoo may ban both sites.

Well not totally true... There are many websites on net which has duplicate content on their web pages but still there in SERPs.
But, I prefer content should be unique and relevant to the web page.

duplicate site which are still in SERP..oneday they would be penalize by SE..so wait and watch .don`t use duplicate content on your site

Yes google is very strict about duplicate content now, we see sites with duplicate content get banned everyday...

Yes there are some that still show but they are on borrowed time and one day could get the ax from Google.
