Actually my site has been listed in google directory and even Dmoz. Still the site rankings and traffic is not going up.

Is the increase in traffic related somehow to the listing in google directory???

Plz advise...

getting listed on dmoz doesn't mean that you can have high rankings/traffic... though search results is partly based on analysis of those sites that link to you... you still have to try other way to increase your traffic...

yes as others said only getting listed in DMOZ won't help you with traffic you need to rank well on keywords with good searches and when people find you by those keywords ultimately you will get relevant quality traffic..

its nice to be listed in dmoz - but its been a while since it generated lots of traffic itself.
it used to be that being listed in dmoz helped you collect many, many backlinks from dmoz scrapers - not the case anymore (lots of these seem to have been banned).
