I have heard some things about RSS and RSS feeds. What are they and what good or bad do they do for websites? I have also heard that you can submit your RSS feeds, where do you find a place to do that and is it helpful for website promotion?

lol i thought it was "really simple syndication"

anyway it's the same as normal webpages just it's simpler and the content is updated but the coding structure is unchanged which enables other websites and subscribers (via clever website programs) to extract your content and embed it within their own sites or in email alerts..etc
