Hello,

What do you guys think of the new google index?
I think it's got major problems.

Try searching for a very competitive word - "deals".
Look at the # 3 result.

Error
"The site you have requested doesn't exist."

How can that page be 3 out of 108 million pages?


or Look at result # 9.

well I would venture that its not a redirect or a 404, its a legitimate URL. The fact that the owner has written:

"The site you have requested doesn't exist.
The associated domain name has probably been reserved by a client from GANDI then parked."

Its like a proper URL even if it is http://redir-error.gandi.net/

Doesn't at all look good on the front page though does it?

yeah this isnt looking good for them... but maybe its not so competive as we think... I would think people would usually type 'deals' with something else such as 'car deals' or 'online deals' - this is weird though
