SEO Inc C&D?
 

I've been hearing that SEO Inc is sending C&D letters to anyone that has posted comments on blogs/forums/websites regarding them being banned or penalized.

I'm curious - has anyone around here gotten one? FYI-don't post anything in this thread speculating any sort of banning or penalization. No need to bring undue attention from their lawyers here ;)

I've got another site that I might mention something to that effect though - just to see what happens :p

No I have not gotten one but I know of others who have and by the sounds of it I think they are going over board. I know when seo-guy.com was ranked bad I know others posted stuff and SEO Guy never sent C/D letters or did he.

That is pretty funny...guess it is not so funny if you are them. Wonder if all of the chatter has really put a dent in their biz

It's often like that, when for some reason some first page site gets kicked, some will speculate all kinds of things.

I don't think he did, and I don't think he would send C/D for a forum post. He would post an answer instead and he is good at answering posts... lol

The irony of it was that their sales people (SEO Inc.) made it a point to talk about all the other SEO companies who's ranking fell off the map as an example of why they were supposedly better (first hand knowledge of this happening) - but then it happened to them and the rules suddenly changed, lol.

Seems rather strange and next to impossible to regulate as the nature of forums is to inquire and to speculate. I'd love to read the letter though.

That's funny, thanks. I'm guessing they'll be fairly busy with that stuff here for awhile if that's the rout they take. It just seems that the harder one works at silencing the critics the more critics they get and the longer the discussion continues.

I wonder if there will be a few new user names at the places where they're getting blasted. (smiley here)
