LOL... 6 months... That's a nice backlink!
Let us know how it affects your rankings in the next few weeks!
Cheers,
Paz.

I actually have a quetion about this one, is it like a normal backlink or google needs to update their directory first?

Hi,
I have two sites listed in DMOZ, and they never show up in Google's backlinks - but as you well know, Google only shows a random sample of the links it's aware of!
As I understand it, the DMOZ listing is used to populate the Google directory but I'm not 100% sure. As I remember, the Google directory only updates every couple of months, maybe longer in recent times.
My feeling is that it will be viewed as a regular backlink, page rank of 5, but with an enormous "trust rank", which will be increasingly more important.
You'll also see lots of new backlinks, in yahoo and MSN, from lots of DMOZ "clones" but it's widely acknowledged that Google treats these clone directories as scraper sites, and doesn't give the links much credit.
Also, you'll notice Google will often use the description from the DMOZ listing as a snippet, and not one based on your homepage as it is now.
Nonetheless, it's still a great link!
Cheers,
Paz.

Ranking... I still don't rank for "Walkthroughs" but I've been recieving many visitors looking for a specific game walkthrough this days.
My traffic has tripled and it is still increasing
About the description on DMOZ... I wasn't inspired that day. Still didn't had the stuff prepared for mass Directory submission, so the description isn't the best
Is there a way to edit it?

Yeah, you can fill out a form, write an info.txt and wait another 6 months, and run the risk of being kicked out of the directory as I was.... haha
...or you could leave well alone!
Cheers,
Paz.
