Hi,
I have visited your website. I don't know how perform in search engines but your site needs a professional look. Re-design with fancy look. Add live chat on your website to give reliable and professional look so that your targeted audiences trust.

Looks not bad, but a bit like a big block of text. Maybe put some pics of some kind, a few links in the content pointing to other internal pages... something to make the page more interesting.
When I went on the site, it jammed for a good 30 sec... a few pages went quick, then again, super slow... more than 30 sec... but this time, instead of waiting, I did what most people must be doing... I just left.

Your site looks good now but how do you know your current homepage style might be the reason why your site is not performing satisfactorily? Maybe your ranks are not that superb, you know. Take a look at your niche to find it one of the hottest markets on the net, already targeted by very big companies and corporations, financial entities which invest heavily in their online and offline projects. Your homepage has now a good style and a standard template suitable for your business.
Perhaps the light job to do now would be pushing those text links from the bottom of your front page to the header sections to ensure net visitors will find and click on them. After all those text lines and paragraphs, not a lot of people may locate the menus at the bottom, you see. Your homepage makes big impressions on the audience and if they do not find the information and materials which have directed them to your site, they would be leaving your site almost instantly.

I checked my website using copyscape and it showed content paragraphs copied from different articles across the web with very little manipulations. Could this be a reason?

From what I understood, it takes a high % of duplicate content to get filtered... so, if it's just a paragraph here and there, the effect should be mild... not that I did any real research on duplicate stuff.
Did you make sure you were getting crawled properly... cause I had to wait over 30 sec. sometimes... if googlebot gets the same... it can't really help.

thanks jocelyn... but, what do you say if there is a content of 4 paragraph and each paragraph is copied from different sources. I guess this comes to penalty...

Like I said, I didn't look into the copied content thing, ratios... I know that those that I spotted that had copied my content usually got filtered without me doing a thing... but most my sites are pretty strong, so this may play differently on a less established site, or if the site copying you is stronger.

It is good to have unique and quality content for the website with proper placement of images and links on the website.
