I have no GSIM program installed and I have tried desperately to get rid of shopnav using a bunch of different spyware removers, anyone know a good solution.

I dont have a GSIM program either, there was no file in my registry. There is a folder in program files labeled "srng" but it says I don't have access to delete it. Shopnav has screwed the whole computer over, every link loads up on it even my comcast homepage. I really need help.

I downloaded Spybot Search and Destroy, which worked for getting rid of shopnav.

Adaware did not work for me, so if adaware fails for you too, try Spybot.

I found somethin called spysweeper, it worked great! got rid of shopnav and 81 other adware things in a few minutes!

I use Spy Sweeper too. It's gotten rid of a bunch of crap that adaware didn't identify and I'm just using the free version.

I had the same problem and found a downloadable (free 15 day trial) removal program from:

You download the 15 day trial version- It is not fully functionable however after you install it select the " Start Full Hijack Scan"

you will then see some of the Shopnav stuff... select fix, you are done...

No more Shopnav!
