SEO reading
Hey guys,
I am the ultimate newbie when it comes to SEO, today is my first day dedicated to learning it. I've looked around this board and it really is great. But I am only understanding a fraction of what is said.
Can anyone recpmend some text that I could read to bring me to speed or atleast familiarize me with the basics. I would love to get a tradtional book, but understand that its hard to keep up with the everchanging algorithms, so if you can recomend an ebook or anything I would really appreciate it.

Assuming you've been through the acronyms and start threads, the only book that I'm aware of is by a moderator here SEO Book.
Personally, I've not read it but in reading the comments from those who have it looks like a great place to start.

Stick around this forum and you'll learn plenty. Don't be afraid to ask questions either, as we all were newbies at one point too.
The one constant in SEO is that it's constantly changing, so you'll have a lot of "catch up" reading to do and then you'll need to get into a habit of always looking for new information.
Good Luck!

I have never read the book either, but do a google for "SEO book" and you will find one written by Aaron Wall. Personally, I hate reading books, and choose to read this forum instead. However, if I were to buy a book, I would buy this one. Heard many good things about it, and the author seems like a decent guy.
Where ya at Aaron? Insert plug for your book here...
