I've never ever been so geeked about a new Windows version. I was excited about the new XP 4 years ago but Windows Vista I am totaly geeked about it. I am currently posting this thread from Vista Beta 1 and IE7 and it's looking real good. IE7 has an intergrated search bar that you can select what search engine you want to search. I am not going to install that ugly Google Toolbar now since MS has intergrated Google search in the search bar.

I am very very impressed with the graphics, the fastness, the new API's and new features for me the Microsoft.NET Programmer. I am over impressed with the new Aero Framework and Indigo Web Services Framework. It's truely an amazing operating system from Microsoft I've ever seen. Anyone remember the Windows 95 midnight launch event and the thousands of people lined up to get it? Well Windows Vista is going to be like that or worse.

I think IE7 is 20 years ahead of IE6. OK there are some minor problems like with CSS but remember this is the first public beta and is bound to have some problems. Windows Vista is very fast and is very stable at this point in time. No compatiblity issues as of yet. I just got done installing Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 and a few others like MSN 7.5 Beta and it works very great.
