Link exchange
Hi people,
I'm new to seo and just want to ask you some questions from this field.
Is it good to trade links with PR 0 sites if mine is let's say 4.
Also, I started my own web site 9.6.2006., so it is just 7 days old, yupiii and put keywords and title and description and linking to other sites, and they link to me.
When can I expect my PR will be more than a 0?
Thank you so much

Congratulations on starting the website, it can be a daunting task for some
It will take google a while to index your site, unless it has been indexed already, then it will take longer before it starts to do anything such as give you pagerank
I expect that with constant link building over a few month period, and no dodgy scams, stay clear of link farms etc
Then your site may start to pick up PR
Good luck!
Is your site a pr 4, i just read that again and now im confused

Thanks a lot.
I'm doing some link exchange for one web site that has PR 4. But other site owners with PR 0 wants reciprocal link exchange. They putted link from my site on theirs.
Will it be smart to put their links on my site because they have PR 0? Will this affect on this site with PR 4?

im pretty sure in saying that a pr 0 site wont hurt you, but it wont be the greatest benefit you could expect
it certainly wont have a negative effect anyway, unless its an irrelevant site and/or has been penalised or banned from google

Make sure the PR 0 site is relevant to yours and is not banned by google. I'd suggest stick to relevant and good quality links from the start and just don't trade with every site who agrees to a link exchange.

All sites start at PR0, so to get better, some people cut you a break, you got to give others a break too. But you have to make sure their page is supported and that they don't use redirected links, REF="nofollow", and even robots.txt could prevent the page to count. Looking if the page is cached in google is also a good idea... if it is, it's a good start at least. Today it's PR0 but when it updates it might be a PR5...

Link with pr 0 is good but that site must have indexed, may be this time it is 0 but after google update it will be of PR 5and that time it will be beneficial for linked websites.
