GoogleBot Signature Experiment

Googlebot Signature Experiment succeeded. As you might see on page: 6 days later Googlebot visited http://www.reatika.ru/gbot/sig/ . That means that Google DOESN'T ignore signature files. No links except that in my signature were posted anywhere.

IMHO you must gain few outbound links before relying on forum sigs - I tested a site with an anchor sig in this forum and 95% of it's links were from here.
after a BL update the site nosed down on serps and all the "related:www.site.com" became other sites from this forum's sigs...
this site had 1st page rankings in 3 competative terms for 3 months and since the update has no recall on serps, is shows on site:www.site.com but without the content.
it is still first on MSN and Yahoo!
my forum sig has changed 3-4 weeks ago.

That summarizes what I was really meaning. Otherwise there would be a huge gaping hole in the Google algorithm.
Everybody would be here posting posts only to get high rankings.

That was one of those that was happening that's been modified. (forum sigs used to count more).

The sig tests will need some time to check the SERP's value but it looks certain that it'll get you spidered quickly. If quickly is frequently... maybe still.

Interactive,
That's for sure...
I'm a newcomer to this forum and I have benefited
already from the postings from all types web site.
Since my site is Real Estate, I am always looking for
ways to improve my ranking and getting my web
visiters to look at more than the 1st page.
I have a template site from Homes.com and I am
unable to get any pages other than the main page and
a couple of Homes.com built in pages indexed and ranked.
I'm thinking that I will have to move to a different host
in order to get better PR for all my pages.
Any ideas anyone?
