I recently ran a link popularity check using marketleap.com.

We've been running lots of SEO campaigns recently and are popularity rank jumped from 56,000 to 109,136 which is fantastic! The huge jump is purely down to Yahoo - all the others have stayed the same.

I understand that Google often shows much lower links than the other search engines, so far our stats show:

www.totalvideogames.com 109,135(Total) 3,310(Google) 3,310(Hotbot) 18,015(MSN) 84,500(Yahoo)

What I don't understand is that for some reason MSN shows much fewer links we also have much lower page saturation with MSN:

456,623(Total Pages) 181,000(Google) 12,600(Hot Bot) 6,023(MSN) 257,000 (Yahoo)

My site is totalvideogames.com, I was hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on our MSN issues as this has been going on for a little while and has me truely confused...

yeah I agree that the situation is a bit strange.

The funny thing is that the same thing happened to me (or similar anyway) about 2 weeks ago - dropped pages and fewer reported backlinks. I dropped in the msn serps too.

I was sure it was an MSN problem though, rather than a problem with the site...
