Keep vertical menu in place

Hi there! I'm currently designing a website using Dreamweaver, however I have little expertise at this, and I have been putting it together using tables. The problem is when you look at it in a resolution other than 1024 x 768 it moves the elements vertically to fit the screen. I would like to know if there's any way to keep my menu to the left and basically the rest of the elements in place.

Cheers!

Hi,

welcome to the forum, sorry we missed your post at the bottom!

Can you put a simplified version of the page up on a web site somewhere and post the url? Then we can have a look at the code, because to be honest, I'm not sure what you mean....

Cheers,
Paz.

I think all he needs to do is set a table of a fixed size... so if you make it 800 wide, then it would be centered with an even gap on earch sides in 1024... the menu in the left cell, the content in the right one or what ever your page needs.
