I recently created a new website at http://www.debtkit.net . In order to start getting traffic I signed up at blogger.com yesterday. I never used this service before or any other blogger service.

In my blogger account I created one message. In this message contained a link to my website.

I have been watching traffic to my website. I received a visitor today and looked at the website it came from. It looks like the website contained a rss feed with my site on it. I do not know what the feed is, but it contained my website meta title and meta description.

Does anyone think this rss feed is a result of my blogger.com message?

Should I be submitting my atom.xml file anyplace or is this done for me automatically?

Should I be creating links to my blogspot.com site on my existing websites?

Any more info would be helpful as this is my first attempt at a blog.

There is a thread in here about that (one of mine) which contains a list of paces to submit your feeds to.
