1. Has anyone tried any banner pop up companies, and been burned by them? Any recomendations? what is the cheapest most reliable you have found?

2. Has anyone tried email marketing companies? is there any cheap ones out there?

I know this doesn't answer your questions but....

Do you think this is good marketing? To me I just can't stand pop ups and email marketing isn't that just a nice way of saying SPAM.

If your going to spend $$ on advertising you might as well make it targeted advertising. Start to build up a mailing list of your own too, then you can send out a newsletter.
