Diffrent results for plural searches

I have just noticed difference in results on MSN when I search in plural and non-plural.

plurals are nice, bring me sweet traffic and i would go out with them if they were girls.

btw, i rank #2 on the plural of my primary and secondary keywords and on the 2nd page with the singlular.

Yes, I've always shown different ranking for the plural vs. singular.

Yes.... you have to optimize for both. We have a site that ranks well for "iPods" but ranks poorly for "iPod" you have to work on both if you want both to rank well.

you think that's weird. occasionally i see different results for case sensitivity.

I especially see it for phrases that you normally see in different cases...for example...
Voip and VOIP.

I see it more clearly when they are doing an update (it is one of the ways I use to detect for Engine Updating)

not normally, very much, but i had someone else verify it last week on msn during an update.

there were substantially different total results between caps and non caps searches, especially for terms like VOIP...and even right now....
Page 1 of 3,518,437 results containing voip
Page 1 of 3,523,566 results containing VOIP
