Following my thread here, I want to know what do you think about Google are they going to be around for much longer or will they drop, word has it that Microsoft have been spending a lot of money on there search engine MSN, but will they really be able to pull off what Google has?
I think they could have a big chance if they play there cards right.

Google has a brand name and people trust google. At the time google came in, others performed bad. Now its much harder for others to fight it. We'll see over the years what happens, but I am skeptical if MSN will beat google anytime soon.

But then they could end up like the big 3 auto makers in the USA and be forced to compete against a hungry SE from abroad. Technology and bandwidth capabilities in the USA are way behind when compared to other countries. By the way, I am in the USA
