Please go to - www.google.com.au , enter "bad credit loans" and look at 3-rd position please => www.badcreditloansnow.com.au.

I don't understand how it's possible:

its domain name is same as keyword ..so google give litlebit priority to domain name also.. please check your doamin also ..http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=...=cr%3DcountryAU

you get rank well on your keyword maybe its because you had a low competitive keywords and another one, your url has big help for that particular keyword. but have you also check the searches of that particular keyword? which is more important to drive traffic into your site then eventually it will converted into goal conversion.
