On a very difficult topic "JAGGERS Update".Friends generally our SEO comunity scared from one thing and that is "GOOGLE UPDATES".I have been visited so many seo forums but not got exact answer.

So friends let give me your inputs on this topic and we will do a comprehensive discussion.

Well the Jagger thing passed me by completely, because my site is sandboxed...

but I did see a huge rise in the number of image searches after Jagger....

Yeah thats bizzar iv also seen a massive increase in image searches, really weird that, maybe they tweaked their image search or something.

to answer Sonja's question

1 thing I noticed in the Jagger updates was the bleed over (I call it) from plural forms of a keyword to the singular are nonexistant now. As in "Boys" to "Boy" or "Love" to "Lover"

2 .php pages with the session IDs got hammered with huge drops in PR value or unindexed altogether. As in .php link pages especialy.

I have one more question.
Can any one explain me what is the most important differance between Google and yahoo algorithm,Search pattern etc.

I also wanted to know how to differenciate among results(Sponsored and Normal) of a search query in yahoo.Because as we know that yahoo dont have any seperate listing for their results.(Google show sponsored site on right hand side of I.E generally).

It is very hurting to see a PR=0 site on top of search results in yahoo.
Thats why i wanted to know which result is from Natural SEO and which one is sponsored.

Even i have been sent the same mail to "Yahoo" also but their answer was not appropriate.

There are big differences between the Google and Yahoo algorithms, but both rely on backlinks.

The google algorithm analyses backlinks more carefully than yahoo - in fact I sometimes think yahoo doesn't evaluate backlinks at all, and just counts them.

Sponsored links appear in a column down the right hand side of the serps in both yahoo and google.

For some searches (eg travel related) there will sponsored links above the #1 serps, and for both SE's they are shaded in light blue.
