Backlinks results w/o your own site?

Hello.
I am taking a look at my competitors backlinks to help give me an idea of possible link partners. However, they have massive amounts of their own pages mixed in the backlinks results. So, I have to go page by page of about 100 pages to find the sites that aren't part of their site.

Is there any easier way? A tool? Or perhaps a formula like: inurl: ?

Is there a way to show a web page's backlinks and not showing pages from their own web site?

Thanks.
Melanie

The closest I could figure would be to look for sites that contain you competitors name and then form your search query on Google like this
Code:
competitor -site:www.competitorsite.com

It's not exact but should help a little

Would be the closest with the advantage of giving more links than the standard backlinks of google.
You'll also have pages that only mentions the URL or javascript text and low PR pages.

Thanks for that Jocelyn, I found that the only thing it misses are the subdomains. That command still shows web-design.seo-guy.com. But hey it sure cuts down the :find your competitors backlink partners and email them" time. Thanks again.

You can change the second www.seo-guy.com to seo-guy.com to get more results. If you really want lots of results use @seo-guy.com
