Do you think the regular user goes to google preference and makes an advance search for all in title or all in text.
Whats the damm problem with you. Just because I know much bettter than you cant you stand it.

No, there's not much competition for web designing mumbai. Using the number of sites returned for a phrase is rather useless in determining how competitive a pharase is, but I'm sure that you know that.

Ever heard of KEI? Keyword Effectiveness Index?
It's a measure of how many competitor sites show up for a search, compared to how many times a day people actually search for it.
You have identified, therefore, a very low KEI.
Normally, the thing to do is identify popular terms (popular in terms of how many times per day they are searched on), with minimal competition. Therefore high KEI terms.
I'm assuming that's not what you've done anyway, but the fact that there are 73 million broad match results for your term, doesn't really mean a great deal.
What our colleague, dilligaf, is suggesting is that appearing well for that term would very easy indeed, because it has very few real competitors (other websites wishing to do well for that term by using it in their title, or in anchor text). I'm further suggesting that even if you can appear highly for that term, it surely won't help your business anyway, if nobody searches for it?

The spiders wouldn't even visit you that often if you have a low PR website, so it wouldn't really matter if you updated a new website that often, would it?
From my understanding you need at least a PR 4-5 to make the spiders come that often... And if the spiders doesn't know it doesn't matter if you update does it?
Seems to me like a very bad advice, especially for new sites. Don't listen to me though, I'm not an expert like this guy.... |

Your absolutely right Farang!
Between you and me, its a bit disappointing to discover that someone with 4 years experience as an SEO would come out with such piffle.
In fairness, there's a lot of "so called" SEO's out there. On bright side, it is encouraging to see people show an interest - and we all make mistakes and get it wrong sometimes.
Personally, I made some major goof's when I started out! hehe
Hopefully I'm not making quite so many now.

Seemed logical to me yes. Just like when I was young and thought what my parents don't know doesn't hurt them kind of, hehe. Nice to get it confirmed from someone more experienced though.... From someone I've actually seen has given good advices in the past 
I guess this guy will give up eventually, when this thread ranks among the top 500 for web designing mumbai. |
