As far as I'm aware, you can't contact the editor of any specific category, simply because there's no way to know who edits which categories. Furthermore, editors that use the forum aren't supposed to comment on any specific submission, nor help anyone 'jump the queue'.
IMHO, you should disregard the advice quoted above.

Don't contact the editors directly. You can post your request at the dmoz forum after giving enough time for the review ( read as 4-6 months).
AFAIK, You will never get a mail directly from the editor. It is not encouraged at DMOZ, I believe. If you get a nice reply from your category editor, go and have a party.

You can become an Editor, or if you know someone who is editor of Dmoz, you can contact with that person, he will defiantly helps you or gives you right guidance for submission
On Other hand you can submite you quiry on

and I am sure you will get responce soon from Dmoz

Go to any perticulor category, at the last of the page you can find the name of editor,
click on that name, you can find their information, and contact detail too
|
