How important are keywords and description in MSN?

I have found with MSN that using good title tags, meta tags??? Description tags and H1- H3 with sprinkled keywords help. Oh and I can't forget to say that in all my testing I see if keyword density really still exists.

I think that they are very important for MSN.
Having a "friendly" site can help you rank big time in MSN.

I don't know how much weight they have but I have seen MSN use the meta description as the description it shows in the SERPs. Writing a good meta description may decide wether a person clicks the link or not.

main thing for MSN suppose that if u change the tilte and keyword targetting then msn also changes your SERPS. depending on your link strategy.on which keyword you target.

MSN and Yahoo, for the most part, (have) love(d) your standard On-page optimization.
So, keyword and description META tags, <hx> tags, kw density, etc...
Always have worked with MSN.

keywords and description are important for any search engine especially for MSN.
they give more weightage for keywords present in title, description, h1, h2... tags etc...

Its not really important unless you wanna use all the different smileys, winks or nudges then you have to know the keywords..
